Ancestry has recently added a database of U.S. Indian Census Schedules 1885-1940 to its collection of U.S. genealogy records. There are over 7.5 million names in the database, representing more than 250 Indian tribes. Notable names include Iwo Jima flag raiser Ira Hayes and Olympic gold medalist Jim Thorpe.
